NCAA Championship: Why Louisville will win.

The Cardinals have all the momentum in the world at the moment even after the loss of Kevin Ware the Cards have played extremely well.
Russ Smith has scored 20 points or more in every NCAA Tournament game this year and needs to continue to carry the team if Louisville has a shot to win.
The big men for the Cards have to contain Mitch McGray in the post and Gorgui Dieng is a beast on the defensive end and that shouldn't be a problem for the Cardinals.

The one player the Cards have to defend and defend for 40 minutes is Trey Burke. The AP player of the year is a handful with his speed and athleticism and the press with Peyton Siva up front needs to contain them. Thankfully the Cards have played three times against the second best point guard in the nation in Micheal Carter-Williams. When Carter-Williams had a solid game during the first meeting and the Orange shot well from three they one the game. However, the last two games against the Cards Carter-Williams struggled to get his team open looks and that caused the team to struggle.
If the pressure gets to Burke the Cards win.

The X-Factor for the Cards is the aforementioned Kevin Ware. Ever since his injury the Cards have played with a passion and a fire reminiscent of Ware. With Ware on the bench and yelling commands and motivation the Cards have the ultimate X-Factor with the motivation to win in Ware's hometown. If you want a player to watch that can change the game in a hurry for the Cards it is Luke Hancock. The junior completely changed the game against Wichita with his 3-point shooting and tenacity. If he plays like he does against Wichita the Cards have a chance to dominate this game. In addition to Hancock, Siva can change the game with his defense in a hurry and has a potential to score 20+ in a hurry.
